  A Milestone Moment: Joining SFWA! As an author, there are certain milestones that mark significant steps forward in one’s career, and I’m excited to share that I’ve just crossed one of those milestones: I’ve officially been accepted into the  Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association (SFWA) ! For those unfamiliar with SFWA, it’s a professional organization that supports science fiction and fantasy authors by providing resources, advocacy, and community. Being part of SFWA has been a goal of mine for some time, and I’m incredibly proud to now be a member. What does this mean for me? Beyond the honor of joining such a respected group of writers, it also opens up new opportunities for collaboration, learning, and growing within the genre. As a member, I’ll have access to exclusive resources that will help me improve my craft, navigate the ever-evolving world of publishing, and stay connected to other authors and professionals in the industry.   The Conjurer’s Prophecy Trilogy is a Finalist in the Wishing Shelf Book Awards! I still can’t believe it— The Conjurer’s Prophecy Trilogy  has been named a  finalist  in the  Wishing Shelf Book Awards ! This international competition recognizes books across multiple categories, and knowing that real readers chose my work as a finalist makes this moment even more special. For those who don’t know,  The Wishing Shelf Book Awards  was created by  Edward Trayer  (who writes under the name  Billy Bob Buttons ). Unlike many awards that rely on industry panels, this one is  judged by actual readers —adults and children who take the time to read every book and provide real, thoughtful feedback. It’s an award that truly values storytelling and the connection books create with their audience, which is why being a finalist means the world to me.
