As Long as We’re Alive, Problems Will Arise APR 21 Posted by Literary_Titan L.S. Franco Author Interview Pandora’s Box follows a 14-year-old boy who discovers he is a demigod like his late mother. His life has become a whirlwind of magical schools, ancient mythologies, and adventure while he tries to prevent evil from taking over the world. What was the inspiration for the setup of your story? My son was my inspiration. When I became a mother, a new fear was unlocked: what will become of my child if I am not here tomorrow? I wanted to write something that could speak to him, nurture him, and entertain him, while leaving him with the values I hope I will have the time and support to instill in him. The MC’s name is my child’s name: Liam. His mourning is built on my biggest fear. The chaos the MC faces is nothing but the chaos of life. We tend to think our problems are the biggest in the world—and for us, they are. But it’s important for children to ...

🔥 Six Reasons Why You’ll Get Hooked on The Conjurer’s Prophecy Trilogy. 1. It doesn’t follow fantasy rules—it builds its own. This series doesn't recycle tropes. It constructs a multiverse with real systems: time, magic, morality, and myth are governed by rules—and those rules matter. 2. The characters evolve—completely. No placeholders, no plot devices. Every major character is built from the inside out. They break. They grow. They change you. 3. The emotional arc hits deeper than expected. Grief, guilt, sacrifice, love, identity—this is speculative fiction with a soul. You don’t just watch these themes unfold; you feel them. 4. It’s structurally ambitious—and it lands. Multiple timelines. Philosophical trials. Spiritual warfare. It could’ve collapsed under its own weight. Instead, it delivers one of the most intricate YA narratives in recent memory. 5. Cinematic scenes you’ll never forget. The maze. The crater. The Red Sun Desert....

LITERARY TITAN AUTHOR INTERVIEW: Adding Depth to My Characters APR 7 Posted by Literary_Titan L.S. Franco Author Interview The Oberon Stone follows a group of friends who are searching for an ancient artifact of immeasurable power, when one is kidnapped, turning their mission into a desperate rescue. What was the inspiration for the setup of your story? I wanted the second book to break away from the artifact-hunting structure of the first, so I set up the story to make readers believe the search for the artifact was the main plot—only to subvert that expectation when the real quest became the Mage’s rescue. That shift came as a shock, flipping the narrative focus. If you look at the book’s climaxes, they’re tied more to the rescue than to the artifact itself, even in the “coming back home” moment. The artifact hunt ended up taking more of a side-quest role. Removing the MC’s mentor was also intentional. It allowed other characters to step into...

WHO SAID I WOULDN'T FINISH THIS ON TIME? As a person who works wonders under pressure, I am glad to announce that I - L.S. Franco - finally wrote "The End" on the last page of the Conjurer's Prophecy Trilogy. The Temporal Scythe is brutal, mind-bending, and uncomfortably close to home. And it’s not here to make you feel safe. This story didn’t come to me—I built it. Every chapter. Every twist. Every single consequence was engineered like a system I dared the reader to try and break. The Temporal Scythe isn’t a finale. It’s the blade that cuts through everything I’ve been warning you about since Book One. The world in these pages? It's cracked. Divided. Hypnotized. Sound familiar? This isn't the kind of ending you close and forget. This is the kind you argue with. Thanks for walking this far into the storm with me. Now hold tight—because this last strike? It cuts deeper than all the rest. Now, to the finals: review and formatting! See you on June 10th (Liam Ha...
