On Stories, Imagination, and the Worlds We Build
Hello, dear readers,
Have you ever stopped to think about how a single story can ripple outward, creating connections far beyond what we imagined when we first put pen to paper? Writing, for me, is not just a craft—it’s a doorway to countless possibilities. Every word, every chapter, every character is a thread in a tapestry (oops—scratch that word, no tapestries here! 😉).
When I began writing The Conjurer’s Prophecy trilogy, I had no idea how much it would shape not only my imagination but also the way I look at the world. Each book has been a challenge—a battle, even. There were times I doubted myself, times I wanted to set the manuscript aside and “just think about it tomorrow.” But the love for storytelling, and for the chance to connect with readers like you, kept me going.
Through The Pandora’s Box and The Oberon Stone, and now as I prepare to share The Temporal Scythe with you, I’ve learned something deeply humbling: these stories don’t just belong to me. They belong to us. You, the readers, bring the world of my books to life in ways I never could on my own.
Whether you’re flipping through the pages at midnight, discussing plot twists with your friends, or imagining yourself standing in the Downtown-Verse (or running away from a certain witch with a green beard!), you are part of this journey.
I want my books to be more than just entertainment. My hope is that they’ll leave behind something lasting—a whisper of courage, faith, and the endless possibilities of redemption. Because if there’s one thing I believe, it’s this: every ending is just the beginning of something greater.
Thank you for walking this path with me. I can’t wait to hear what The Temporal Scythe will mean to you when it releases in February 2025.
Yours,
