The Conjurer’s Prophecy Trilogy is a Finalist in the Wishing Shelf Book Awards!


I still can’t believe it—The Conjurer’s Prophecy Trilogy has been named a finalist in the Wishing Shelf Book Awards! This international competition recognizes books across multiple categories, and knowing that real readers chose my work as a finalist makes this moment even more special.

For those who don’t know, The Wishing Shelf Book Awards was created by Edward Trayer (who writes under the name Billy Bob Buttons). Unlike many awards that rely on industry panels, this one is judged by actual readers—adults and children who take the time to read every book and provide real, thoughtful feedback. It’s an award that truly values storytelling and the connection books create with their audience, which is why being a finalist means the world to me.

The winners will be announced on April 1st, but to be honest, I already feel like a winner just being here. Every author who made it to this stage has poured their heart and soul into their stories. Whether or not I take home the award, I’m incredibly proud to have The Conjurer’s Prophecy Trilogy stand alongside such fantastic books.

A Little About the Trilogy

If you're new to my work, The Conjurer’s Prophecy Trilogy is a dark YA fantasy series filled with magic, fate, and a whole lot of twists. It follows Liam Hale, a socially awkward, book-smart teenager who gets thrown into a world of ancient prophecies, deadly enemies, and powerful magic. He never wanted to be a hero—but destiny doesn’t really care.

One of the things I love most about writing this series is the deep world-building and multi-perspective storytelling. Inspired by my years of playing and running tabletop RPGs, I wanted to create a world that feels alive, where actions have consequences and every character brings their own struggles, hopes, and secrets to the story.
