Embracing Differences: The Lumi Series and a New Chapter for Neurodivergent Children: Dear friends, I want to introduce you to something very close to my heart—the  Lumi  series. As a mother, writer, and advocate for neurodiversity, I’ve long believed in the importance of representation and understanding in children's literature. With the release of  Lumi , debuting on February 1, 2025, we begin a journey to celebrate and empower children who are often overlooked in stories. For families raising children with autism, ADHD, or other neurodivergent traits, finding books that reflect their experiences can be a challenge.   A Personal Statement by L.S. Franco: Dear Readers, There are moments in life when reality hits far too close to fiction. As a storyteller, I’ve always believed in the power of stories to reflect, challenge, and heal. I recall vividly the thrill of standing on stage at the World Famous Comedy Store alongside the brilliant Don Barris, learning from the masters of improvisation and comedy. I remember late nights filming at the iconic Eve After Dark, where creativity seemed to seep from the walls, and the countless friendships I forged during my years in the acting field. When the fires ravaged parts of Los...

The Cover for  The Temporal Scythe : A Journey of Creation and Resilience. Hi everyone, it’s L.S. Franco here, and I am beyond excited to share that the cover for  The Temporal Scythe  is ready and will be revealed soon! This moment feels like crossing a finish line after a marathon—a journey that tested me both as an author and as a person. The Hardest Cover Yet Let me start by saying, this was by far the hardest cover to bring to life in the  Conjurer's Prophecy  trilogy. It took an extraordinary amount of back-and-forth discussions, countless brainstorming sessions, and more changes than I’ve ever had to make before. At one point, we even threw some design elements to a public vote. Honestly, the results didn’t align with what I had envisioned, but I decided to trust the readers’ instincts. Sticking with the people’s choice turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have made, and I’m so grateful for this collaboration with you all. Writing Thr...
